The beginning of this week will be warm and breezy. A upper level ridge will help with the climb in temperatures, reducing rain chances with the next approaching cold front.
Tuesday will be the hottest day with temperatures getting up into the upper 80s and some spots the lower 90s.
Cold front moves through Tuesday evening, dropping temperatures into the 60s. Temperatures rebound into the 70s by the weekend.
There is an enhanced risk of severe thunderstorms from Central and Northern Texas into the eastern part of the state from Wednesday to Thursday. These storms are capable of damaging wind and hail.
