Wednesday brought a plethora of weather phenomenon to the Concho Valley as a strong storm system moved over the state. A few showers formed early in the day before a line of storms moved in with gusty winds, lightning, and small hail along with a vivid rainbow on the back side of things. Dry air is working in tonight which means calmer conditions and a cooler Thursday. A strong front arrives Friday bringing cold air behind it for saturday along with the potential for precipitation, some of which may fall as frozen precipitation. For now, confidence remains low, and the forecast will likely be more clear on Thursday. Another system is forecast to come in behind it leading to a chilly start to 2019!
