—– FROM YOUR KSAN STORM TEAM CHIEF METEOROLOGIST JOSH JOHNS —–
Monday was a very sunny one across the Concho Valley with a cool front arriving this evening. You’ll feel the changes from that cool front tomorrow when you wake up. Temperatures should be in the upper 40s around sunrise. We’ll warm up into the lower 70s in the afternoon, so any jacket that you may need for the morning will not be needed in the afternoon. Although it will be breezy with winds out of the north at 10-15 mph.
Calm winds and clear skies should lead to some decent radiational cooling Tuesday night. Temperatures should be around 40 when you Wake up Wednesday morning.
As we head into Wednesday, our winds will shift back around to the south which will make things a tad less cool for Wednesday night. Those southerly winds will strentghen as we head into Thursday, blowing about 15-25mph ahead of a Cold front that will arrive Thursday night and into Friday morning. That will bring the coldest air we have seen so far this season with temperatures in the low 60s for highs Friday. Any friday night football games will probably need a jacket as temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s around the start of the game and the 40s around the end of the games. Lows Saturday morning will be downright chilly and near freezing!
Saturday will feature highs in the upper 60s and Lows in the upper 30s Sunday morning before we warm up again to start of the new work week with highs in the 70s and 80s Sunday and Monday.
Make it a great Tuesday!
