Last nights round of thunderstorms did little to quench a long drought period across West Texas.
Rain showers, gusty conditions and an impressive show of thunderstorm activity cooled conditions of across the Concho Valley before giving way to a clear Wednesday morning.
As skies cleared temperatures began their ascent to the triple digit before a few clouds teased a chance for some evening rain.
San Angelo is in standard conservation, which restricts outside watering to twice every seven days at no more than 1 inch per week, no watering between noon and 6 pm. Runoff of more than 150 feet down any street, gutter, alley or ditch is prohibited.
