A hot day today and potentially an even hotter day tomorrow. Expecting temperatures to reach close to 100 degrees for the afternoon Sunday but it all depends on a cold front moving into the area. If this cold front arrives early many areas will only reach a high of 98-99 degrees. If it arrives later, expect that high temperature to reach 100.
Rain and thunderstorm chances increase tomorrow evening with the potential of some of these storms to become severe. Parts of the southeastern Concho Valley are under a slight risk for severe weather for Sunday night and overnight into Monday.
Rain will continue to stick with us into Monday and Tuesday, but by Wednesday we will start to dry out with temperatures rising back into the 90’s by next weekend. Stay cool tonight and tomorrow and be safe during the evening and overnight hours as our thunderstorm chances increase.
