KLST Evening Forecast: Thursday, April the 15th

Its been a cloudy, rainy and cold Thursday. Temperatures were in the low to mid 60s. The southern parts of the Concho Valley saw some strong to severe thunderstorms. In the evening and overnight we see light showers and drizzle across the area. Lows get down to the upper 60. Early Friday morning isolated showers quickly move across the northern part of the Concho Valley. The rest of the day stays dry with temperatures warming up to the upper 70s.

A cold front on Saturday brings highs back down to the low 60s. A small warm up on Monday in the upper 60s before another cold front on Tuesday. After the cold front temperatures slowly get back to normal for this time of year.

KLST Afternoon Forecast: Thursday, April 15th

Rain showers are expected to stick around the region for the next few hours this afternoon. Temperatures will reach the 60s and winds will be coming from the east 10-15 mph. Tonight will give us a few lingers showers and storms, mostly to the eastern portion of the Concho Valley. Lows will be in the 50s and winds coming in up to 15 miles per hour. Tomorrow will give us mostly cloudy skies with highs in the 70s and 80s and winds will vary in direction up to 20 miles per hour. This weekend will be more on the dry side, with highs in the 50s and 60s and the first half of next week will give us more sunshine. A cold front will move through next Tuesday, dropping our highs around 10 degrees.

KLST Morning Forecast: Thursday, April 15th

We are expecting to have scattered rain showers around the region today, with heavier rainfall coming this afternoon. A few thunderstorms could develop around the region as well. Temperatures will reach the 60s today and winds will be coming mostly from an eastern direction 10-15 mph. Tonight will have a few lingering rain showers, with lows in the 50s and winds up to 15 miles per hour. Tomorrow will give us mostly cloudy skies with highs reaching the 70s and 80s and winds up to 20 miles per hour in various directions. This weekend is looking to be more on the cooler side with highs in the 50s and 60s, and more sunshine heading into the first half of next week.
