Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible in a few of our northern and western counties tonight. One or two storms could become strong to severe as they move through the Concho Valley. Winds will stay breezy out of the south at 10-15 mph with wind gusts up to 25 mph and skies will be partly cloudy, For tomorrow, temperatures will get back above average and top out at 95-97 degrees with heat index values near 100 degrees. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible in the late afternoon and evening hours. The eastern and central half of the Concho Valley is under a “Slight Risk“ for severe thunderstorms. The main threats include large hail, damaging winds and excessive cloud-to-ground lightning.
