SAN ANGELO — No. 11 Angelo State picked up its eighth and ninth wins of the season with a pair of victories over Cameron on Saturday at Foster Field.
The Rams downed the Aggies in the first game of the doubleheader 11-6 behind a four RBI game from junior first baseman Aaron Walters.
Senior outfielder Josh Elvir then picked up the pace in the nightcap with a three-home run performance, which tied the school record and fueled ASU to a 10-4 win.
Angelo State (8-0) will go for the four-game sweep of Cameron (1-8) tomorrow. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
