In news with Kaitlin Moore, a San Angelo man remains in federal custody for allegedly distributing multiple pounds of meth.
37 year-old, Benny Martinez was arrested at his home on Wilma Lane west of San Angelo off Highway 67.
Officers seized more than 18 pounds of meth in the ceiling of a pantry and buried on the north side of an outbuilding, in a small garden.
He’s charged with possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.
A preliminary hearing is set for November 9th of this year.
