Officials believe a construction worker died of a some kind of medical or natural condition after police found his body near a working site.
Officials say the resident from Green Bay, Wisconsin was found on some equipment on the back of an 18 wheeler at the site of the new HEB grocery which is located at the corner of Sherwood Way and FM 2288.
A witness saw the man working on an 18 wheeler that held car wash equipment just before the noon lunch hour.
“Somebody saw him around 11:30 when they went to eat and he was actively working up on the rig,” said Justice of the Peace J.D. McGuire. “They came back about 12:15 and didn’t see him, a passerby stopped one of the employees out here and said ‘is that guy up there ok’ and he’s slumped over on the load on the very top of it at the rear end of it.”
The man has been identified as a resident of Green Bay, Wisconsin, but police are not releasing his name and age at this time.
McGuire says they don’t expect to order an autopsy because no criminal actions are expected.
