In your top stories with Kaitlin Moore, drivers who travel on Sherwood Way at the Loop 306 overpass will have some detours over the next couple of months.
New exit ramp restrictions went into effect Tuesday.
Reece Albert work crews are now finishing ramp upgrades as part of the 7 and a half million dollar Loop project that started almost a year ago.
Workers are also finishing the frontage road in front of the new HEB.
“We want motorists to be aware that the frontage road in front of Sunset Mall is now a stop sign so you need to stop instead of merging and yielding to traffic coming off the Loop,” said Karen Threlkeld with the Texas Department of Transportation.
Both the Sherwood Way and Loop 306 ramp projects are scheduled for completion by the end of March.

There is now a burn ban in effect for Tom Green County.
The county commissioners’ court has ordered that all outdoor burning is prohibited for the next 90 days.
This order does not prohibit cooking stoves fueled by white gasoline or outdoor cooking grills fueled by propane or natural gas.
If someone is caught burning they can face a fine of up to 500 dollars.

Crews will continue setting up laying down the dirt to cover the floor of the coliseum for San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo.
Bulldozer drivers moved it in Tuesday to lay down the almost 30 year old dirt.
By the time workers finished, it was close to a foot deep across the floor of Foster communications
Coliseum.
The dirt is groomed for use by special conditioners pulled by tractors.
They use lasers to make sure the dirt is level at a consistent depth of 11 inches. It’s a special blend of clay, sand and silt.
The first rodeo performance is February 2nd.
Tickets will be on sale at the Foster communications Coliseum box office and online at wwww.sanangelorodeo.com.
