In news with Kaitlin Moore, a teen driver went to the hospital following a roll over on Houston Harte.
It happened Thursday afternoon in the eastbound lanes of the express way near the Smith overpass.
According to officials, an 18 year old man driving a Silverado pick up was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the truck and hit the guardrail before rolling onto the hood of the cab.
The driver was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.
Police cited him for failure to control speed.
Nearby road construction crews helped officials reduce traffic to one lane for about an hour while the scene was cleared.

The animal services advisory committee met this week to discuss a possible deal between Concho Valley Paws and the animal shelter which would allow CV Paws to facilitate adoptions for the shelter.
The board approved a 60,000 dollar contract between the two entities, which paves the way for city council members to possibly voice their approval in the coming weeks.
Terms of the deal include the addition of two Concho Valley Paws employees to the shelter staff to help the shelter with pet adoption services.
“One thing that they have is facilities, we don’t, we utilize foster homes, so putting us together really, if we go about it the right way and everyone stays positive and focuses on the common mission we can do a lot of great things in this community,” said Jenie Wilson, Executive Director, CV Paws.
Concho Valley Paws will meet with other rescue groups at a meeting on February 16th to outline the contract they have currently set with the animal shelter.
