UPDATE: Woman charged with murder in domestic violence shooting in Paulann subdivision

UPDATE Saturday, 4:00 PM: The 53-year-old man injured in yesterday’s domestic violence-related shooting in the Paulann subdivision succumbed to his injuries earlier today. He has been identified as Antonio Fletcher.

Lisa Clemons has been upgraded to a murder charge. Clemons is being held in the Tom Green County Jail. Bond has not been set.

UPDATE 11:05 PM: The San Angelo Police Department (SAPD) has confirmed that a 38-year-old San Angelo woman has been charged with Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon Causes Serious Bodily Injury Family Violence following a shooting investigation in the 1200 block of Daniel Street.

Police were originally called to the scene by the suspect, Lisa Clemons, for a reported domestic dispute. During the call, San Angelo Public Safety Communications received a second call from a neighbor who reported gunfire in the area.

Arriving officers located the victim, a 53-year-old male relative of Clemons, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. He is reported to have life-threatening injuries. No other persons were reported injured.

Additional charges are pending the outcome of this ongoing investigation.

San Angelo, Texas– The San Angelo Police Department (SAPD) announced via their Twitter account that a shooting investigation was taking place at 8:50 PM on Friday night in the Paulann subdivision.

SAPD said that a male victim was transported to a nearby hospital, and that the suspect is in custody.
