San Angelo School District Will Have Two Bond Propositions on Nov. 6 Ballot

San Angelo School District went back to work this summer after the school bond in May failed by just two votes. This November, you will have options on the ballot. San Angelo residents can choose to vote for Proposition A, Proposition B, both, or neither. Derrick Jackson, SAISD Director of Communications, said “we decided that our best option was to give our community the chance to make a choice so we split it between campus spaces and classrooms and extra curriculars.”

Proposition A comes to a total of $111,480,000 and will pay for things like security improvments, new lunchrooms, and other upgrades at multiple campuses.

Proposition B comes to a total of $34,040,000 and will in large provide a new multi-purpose gym at Central High School.
