San Angelo garbage customers can dispose non-artificial Christmas trees on their bulk trash pick up day.

Trees should be left near tan garbage bins on customers’ bulk pick up day.

Bulk service alternates weekly with curbside recycling. For customers unsure which service they will receive on a given week, an interactive map and calendar are posted at cosatx.us/solidwaste

Trees can also be taken to the Foster Communications Coliseum Parking lot at 50 E. 43rd St on Wednesday, December 26 through Sunday, January 6.

Once all ornaments and decorations have been removed, trees can be dropped off at any time inside the marked area. The city will run trees through a chipper.

Mulch from the chippers will be available for free at the City’s landfill at 3002 Old Ballinger Hwy.

The landfill is open from 7 a.m – 5:30 p.m Monday through Friday and 7 a.m -2 p.m on Saturdays.
