San Angelo Coalition of Police hosted annual Operation Blue Santa

This morning, Operation Blue Santa took place.

The San Angelo Coalition of Police started this heart-warming event twelve years ago.

About forty children from local elementary schools were selected and invited to participate.

Upon arrival, the children are paired up with a police officer and are given two hundred and fifty dollars to spend on Christmas presents.
This is a donation-based program.
