Military Blood Drives Lead by Father and Daughter

Sergeant First Class William Waddell is the blood drive coordinator for the U.S. Army 344th Military Intelligence Battalion at Goodfellow Airforce Base.

SFC Waddell’s 9 year-old daughter, Maddie, also plays a big role in recruiting soldiers for the blood drives.

Over the course of three years, their recruitment efforts to donate blood has saved over 11,000 lives.
