A new alternative high school is accepting students for the fall semester called Premier High School.

The new school is open for students in grades nine through twelve… and even those beyond the high school age who want to return to make up credits.

It’s a tuition-free public charter school in the city, located at 4102 Sunset Drive.

Anyone up to the age of 26 can earn their high school diploma.

Campus Director — Bree Sherwood — says the staff is very excited to debut a Premier school in San Angelo. “We have a rockstar staff, and we are all thrilled this opportunity, not just for us professionally, but for the community and for the students that we are going to serve.”

Premier High School will be hosting an open house this Thursday (August 16) for anyone interested in applying.
