New directors elected at the annual Farm Bureau meeting

Several hundred people attended Tuesday’s annual Tom Green County Farm Bureau meeting.

During the convention and yearly meeting and dinner, members elected new directors.

The Texas Farm Bureau works to inform elected representatives about the needs and concerns of rural agricultural producers and also to teach people about how food is produced and where it comes from.

Agricultural producers receive about eight to 10 cents on every dollar spent by consumers who buy food products at grocery stores.
