In news with Kaitlin Moore, a man is recovering after leaving the roadway and crashing off of Houston Harte.

Tuesday police say the driver was going east on Houston Harte and had some kind of medical issue. He went off the hillside.

On Freeland Avenue the vehicle ran over several signs, fence and a gas meter before coming to a stop

The driver was taken to community hospital.

Police have identified the man found dead in an alley on the West side of the city on July Fourth.

Police arrived Monday afternoon to discover the body of 23-year-old, Eduardo Gavirio, in the two-thousand block of Lindell Avenue.

An autopsy has been ordered.

Police say the case is still being investigated, but there is no reason to suspect foul play in Gavirio’s death.

You could see some traffic delays this week because of water main construction in downtown San Angelo.

This week, workers closed the far right eastbound lane on Harris street at Magdalen for a water main improvement project.

Two southbound lanes on Magdalen will also be closed through Thursday, July 7th.

Traffic will be rerouted from Magdalen onto Main and South Oakes.

In the last six years, the kids eat free program has provided over 100,000 meals to children across the Concho Valley.

Beginning Tuesday July 5th until August 19th, Monday through Friday, kids eat free will offer lunch in 8 San Angelo neighborhoods and 1 in Carlsbad.

With the help of many churches, organizations and individuals, an average of 20, 000 meals are provided in July and August.
