National Puppy Day and last day to name your adoption fee at Concho Valley Paws

March 23rd is National Puppy Day unless that day falls on a Saturday, in which it’s then observed on Friday. It’s a special day to celebrate the magic and unconditional love that puppies bring to our life. More importantly, it’s a day to help rescue orphaned and sheltered puppies and dogs and encourage adooption.

Today is celebrated for dogs of all age, breed, and color. They risk their lives for us everyday.. for the mentallly and physically disabled, for protection, law enforcement, and can even detect our medical issues like epilepsy, seizures, and low blood sugar – doing things even humans can’t do ourselves.

National Puppy day was founded in 2006 by Celebrity Pet & Family Lifestyle Expert & Author, Colleen Paige, who has also found multiple other national days for clebrating the animals in your life.

You can celebrate today by visiting Concho Valley Paws to adopt a dog or a cat for their last day to name your adoption fee. You can find more information and upcoming adoption drives on their facebook page
