Murder at Fort Concho program cancelled for Friday; Saturday program still on

Wet conditions has caused Fort Concho to cancel their murder mystery program on Friday, but the Fort plans to have Saturday program go on as planned.

The murder mystery program, “Murder at Fort Concho”  on Friday, October 19 has been cancelled due to impending rainy conditions. The Saturday program will go ahead as scheduled.

Guests may report to the Barracks 1 Visitor Center at 630 South Oakes between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. to purchase tickets and have access to the full program which takes about 90 minutes.

Those who have purchased tickets for Friday’s event may use them on Saturday. A refund is available to those who have a Friday ticket and are unable to attend the event on Saturday. They can receive the refund by calling the Fort Concho office at 325-657-4444.

“We regret cancelling the Friday program, but the expected conditions were clearly not going to be pleasant,”  fort site manager Bob Bluthardt said. “The grounds will still be muddy, but Saturday evening may not have any rain.“
