San Angelo Support for Veterans, Inc. is welcoming veterans into San Angelo as they embark on a weekend of fun, fellowship, and a chance for the community to show it’s support.
The organization invites the community to help in honoring our heroes.
The first opportunity is Wednesday, December 5th at the Airport as 18 veterans come to San Angelo at 2:00pm. There will be a brief introduction and prayer and a chance to thank them for their service.
The second opportunity will come Thursday, December 6th when the 18 veterans will be honored in a ceremony at the Riverstage at 12:00pm. The event will include music provided by Central High School, Color Guard and Detachment from Goodfellow Air Force Base, and an introduction of each Veteran participating and visiting San Angelo.
