A San Angelo woman remains behind bars for arson after she allegedly tried to burn down her ex-boyfriend’s house last summer.

On July 5, 2015, the fire department responded to a fire just before 3:00 in the morning at a residence in the 200 block of West 23rd Street.

After investigation, the state fire marshals office concluded the fire was started in the bedroom on the second floor.

According to the victim, he and 30-year-old Dominesha Elizabeth Hallcy had dated two or three years prior; however, he was allowing her to live there.

The house was set on fire while he was out of town for the weekend with his current girlfriend at the time.

Hallcy was arrested, Wednesday, on charges of arson with intent to damage habitat.
