United Way helps Concho Valley veterans with “Operation Hope Delivered”

Local News

“Operation Hope Delivered” is helping dozens of Concho Valley families of veterans.

At the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank Friday, volunteers assembled big boxes of household and personal items to be given to dozens of area veterans’ families.

Many stopped by the food bank all day to pick them up and area businesses donated all the items to the United Way.

This year’s day of caring is designed to help veterans who are leaving “transitional housing” and moving into a permanent residence, and who need items for their new homes.
