Two SAPD motorcycles crash during call response

SAN ANGELO, TX - At approximately 10:30 a.m. Friday morning, units were dispatched to the 400 block of Pulliam Street in reference to possible shots fired. Several units quickly responded to the area.

Two San Angelo Police Department (SAPD) motorcycle units were dispatched to the area, one following the other, actively searching for any possible persons involved with the call.  The operator of the back motorcycle collided with the operator of the front motorcycle when he slowed to look down an alleyway.

The collision resulted in non-life threatening injuries to both officers.  Both officers were transported to Shannon Medical Center by ambulance and have since been released.
