In news with Kaitlin Moore, a high speed pursuit in north San Angelo ends in a violent collision. Police blocked off both sides of Bryant Sunday evening.
An officer spotted a stolen SUV Sunday evening and attempted to pull the vehicle over at Chadbourne and 15th, but the woman didn’t stop.
Police say the driver sped off for four blocks through 15th Street crashing with a car headed north at Bryant.
The driver of the passenger vehicle and SUV are listed in stable condition and were transported to area hospitals.
The 24 year old woman driving the SUV is looking at several charges against her.
The incident shut down north and southbound lanes on Bryant as crews worked to clear the scene.
Some pets have been lost during hurricane Harvey and shelters are asking for help.
Next weekend shelters impacted will be in San Angelo to pick up supplies.
Concho Valley Paws is asking for donated items including dog and cat food, blankets and kennels.

The United Blood Services is asking people in the Concho Valley to donate blood.
The local bank says they are anticipating south Texas will have an increase in people who need blood transfusions.
They tell us there is also a big chance that blood drives and donor centers will be closed during the severe weather which results in shortage of donations.
UBS hosted a blood drive at St. Mary’s Catholic Church over the weekend to help fill some of that need.
