In news with Kaitlin Moore, new details are emerging in the murder of a 41 year old Abilene man earlier this month.
The body of Eric Torrez was found in rural Crockett County.
An autopsy revealed he died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
According to case documents, 34 year old Stephen Jennings and 42 year old David Navarro restrained Torrez inside a house on Duckworth Road in Tom Green County.
Stephen Jennings reportedly admitted to his father, Gary Jennings, that he shot Torrez in the head.
Stephen Jennings and David Navarro are charged with murder in the case.
Three others are charged with organized criminal activity for their various roles in the events that led up to or followed the murder.
Police are searching for a San Angelo man on a warrant for “deadly conduct” in connection with a shooting at McDonalds.
20 year–old Ben Nelms is accused of firing a gun toward a 19 year-old acquaintance in the McDonalds parking lot on North Bryant after a dispute Tuesday afternoon.
Police say Nelms fled the scene driving a pickup involved in a collision at the McDonalds, which was found a short time later abandoned on Spaulding.
Nelms is also wanted on an outstanding warrant for endangering a child earlier this month.

Recent rains have delayed construction work and one-lane traffic will continue for the rest of the week and many of the on and off ramps will remain closed.
Contractors say they expect to be finished with the six-mile construction on Houston Harte and the Loop sometime in November.
