St. Pittie’s Day event raises awareness of pit bull dogs that are up for adoption at Cassie’s Place

Local News

Saturday morning, from 11am to 2pm, Cassie’s Place hosted their second Annual St. Pittie’s Day Event out at the Pit BBQ.

This rescue and rehabilitation organization cares for 80-100 pets and knows that pit bulls are one of the hardest pets to get people to adopt.

There were fifteen dogs out on the site and the adoption fee was $165. This fee covered the pet’s future spay or neuter, vaccinations, and getting microchipped.

If anyone is interested, but wasn’t able to make it out to the adoption event on Saturday, feel free to reach out to Cassie’s Place on Facebook or give the nonprofit organization a call at (325) 651-0021.

For those looking for a pet other than a dog, the rescue organization also has cats and exotic pets.
