San Angelo, TX - An Eagle Scout project by Scout Troop 363 member, Kevin Franke, was the subject of a groundbreaking for Sonrisas Trails Therapeutic Riding program as Franke has been working to add a sensory trail to the program's site.
Kevin says he began his drive to add such a trail to the site because of his brother Keith--who suffers from moderate autism and receives therapy at Sonrisas.
Kevin hopes the project benefits Sonrisas in the long run as well as his brother.
He says Eagle Scout projects are designed to teach kids about leadership.
