San Angelo man found dead in local hotel

Local News

At approximately 12:40 p.m. this afternoon San Angelo Police and Fire Department personnel were dispatched to a room at the San Angelo Lodge, 1717 W. Beauregard, for the report of an unconscious person who did not appear to be breathing.  The body was located by a pest control worker who entered the locked room for routine spraying.

First responders arrived and determined the man was deceased.  Justice of the Peace J.P. McGuire responded and formally pronounced the man deceased with the [preliminary] cause of death as natural.  The deceased, later identified as Barney Boisse, had a history of medical issues and it appeared as if Boisse suffered an undetermined medical complication.  Next of kin has been notified.

No evidence of foul play was noted during the preliminary investigation.
