San Angelo ISD announces new campus principals and leadership

San Angelo, Texas – San Angelo Independent School District is pleased to announce the following new principals and district leadership in advance of the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.


Toni Daniel is the new associate principal at Central High School on Oakes Street. Mrs. Daniel has 24 years of experience. Mrs.Daniel has also served as assistant principal at Lee Middle School and taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade in Indiana and Texas.
Laura Eubank is the new principal at Belaire Elementary School. Mrs. Eubank has 11 years of experience in education. She hasserved as an elementary principal both in Veribest ISD and at
Luling ISD prior to joining SAISD.

Dr. Jennifer Ryan is the new principal at Lamar Elementary. Dr.
Ryan has 18 years experience including most recently serving as a
multi-tiered systems of support coach for SAISD
Central High School has transitioned to ONE high school with
multiple campuses. Under this transition, Bill Waters will serve as
the head principal over all of Central High School, including the
main campus and Central High School on Oakes Street. This will be
his 13th year as principal of Central High School. Mr. Waters has 30
years of experience.

District Leadership

Cheri Braden is now the Director of Campus Academic Support for
SAISD. Mrs. Braden has 27 years of experience, 24 serving SAISD.
She was a principal at Glenmore Elementary and most recently had
the position of Director of Elementary Curriculum & Instruction.

Dr. Raelye Self is now the SAISD Director of Data Services. Dr. Self
has experience with SAISD as a secondary teacher, elementary and
middle school assistant principal and elementary principal as well
as experience in higher education with Angelo State University. Dr.
Self was recognized as a 2018 recipient of the City of San Angelo’s
20 Under 40 and a 2017 ASU Distinguished Carr Scholar Alumna.
Dr. Jason Skelton is now the SAISD Director of Safe Environments &
Student Services. Dr. Skelton has experience as a middle school
teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal and elementary and
high school principal, most recently serving as principal of Lake
View High School. He is a native of San Angelo.
