Firefighters battled a fire that damaged a vehicle and a garage on the 1700 block of Louise Drive Thursday afternoon.

The San Angelo Fire Department was notified of the vehicle fire. Once they arrived, the garage next to the car had also caught fire. 

Crews were able to battle both fires and contain them both.

Nobody was inside of the residence when the fire occurred.
