Local News

After almost 20 years with San Angelo’s Community Medical Center, Sheryl Pfluger is retiring.

Lots of colleagues and friends attended a retirement reception for community’s marketing and business development director Wednesday at San Angelo Country Club.

She says one of the best parts about her job for 19 years has been creating and launching new programs and services at community.

“This has been a wonderful job,”said Pfluger. “Being able to work with such a wonderful hospital and all of the people there. I made a lot of wonderful friends with physicians and staff at community and been fortunate to be a part of so many fun things.”

Pfluger who has nine grandchildren is the chair-elect of San Angelo’s Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
