A pop up shop has been running outside of the “out of the box” store for a couple of months now on every second Saturday of each month.
There are 30 local artisans inside the shop and six local vendors who showed up January 12.
The goal of the pop up shop is to expose local artists in San Angelo.
They offer a plethora of items ranging from a few dollars to hundreds of dollars. These items can serve as small or big gifts and ready for any occasion.
Co-Owner of Out of the Box, Denise Wanoreck, says, “the exposure of all of the local artists. We have so many different ones here in San Angelo, and some of the craftsmen are getting to be a dying breed. They have no place to show their work. So, we have anything from glassware to woodwork to jewelry. You name it, they do it.”
The pop up shop runs from nine in the morning to three in the afternoon and they are located on fifteen north tyler street.
