Sara Mutschlechner, a junior at the University of North Texas, died Friday after she was shot while leaving a new year’s eve party.
Officials say they believe an SUV pulled up next to her vehicle firing several rounds. Sara was found by officials in the road with a gunshot wound to her head. She died at the hospital.
