National Barbershop Quartet Day

Local News

Members of the “Texas Pride” quartet sang at the Sterling County nursing home Thursday afternoon.

They’re with San Angelo’s “Twin Mountain Tonesman” and will be heading to the district competition next month for a chance to compete at the international level.

The group sings at several nursing homes especially throughout the summer and Thursday’s performance was part of national Barbershop Quartet Day.

Members talked about what they enjoy about performing for nursing home residents.

Eubank says that if anyone is interested in barbershop singing to check out or if they are as a whole to visit
