Meals For The Elderly is a private, charitable nonprofit organization devoted to serving the homebound elderly with one hot, nutritious meal each weekday, while ensuring their individual well-being through personal contact. Since 1974, Meals For The Elderly has provided meals for the homebound elderly as neither a government or United Way agency. This independent organization maintains an operating cost of $3.50 per meal. Through gifts, grants, donations, and fundraisers, as many as 700 meals per day are delivered to community members who might otherwise go hungry. We are delivering smiles, one meal at a time.
