Launch window opens just after 4:00 p.m. (central)

CAPE CANAVERAL, FL - Thursday, March 1, 4:30 p.m. — Coverage of GOES-S launch. The two-hour launch window opens at 4:02 p.m. (Central) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA’s) newest weather satellite, Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite-S (GOES-S), will launch on a ULA Atlas V rocket from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
