The San Angelo fire marshal’s office says electrical wiring may have triggered a fire that caused major traffic delays on Houston Harte.

It happened at the end of the lunch hour Tuesday on Houston Harte near Van Buren.

Two men were in a Kia when the driver pulled to the side of the road and got out after their car caught fire.

Firefighters extinguished the fire in about ten minutes, electrical wiring on the floorboard may have sparked it.
