Hundreds of children and parents attend Sunset Mall’s annual “Safe Treat” Trick or Treat

News

Kids in San Angelo got their share of treats today at Sunset Mall. The event started at 6 pm Monday and lasted until the candy ran out. Hundreds of children and parents waited in lines that stretched throughout the mall.

The event is held each year for families to go to store to store in their best costumes to receive candy.

Sunset General Manager, Sabrina Tatsch says, ” We invite the community to come trick or treat. We probably have 95 percent of the stores participating in this event.”

Every year the mall organizes the event for children 12 and under and is meant for a “safe place” to enjoy Halloween.
