Military members traded their uniforms for football gear. Friday afternoon, Goodfellow Air Force Base hosted an Army versus Navy football game.

It was at the Mathis fitness center field.
The 344th Military Intelligence Battalion competed against the Navy Center for Information Warfare Detachment.
It was a game of flag football aimed at fostering morale both within the units and between services.
“Its nice that the base has a ARMY NAVY game. This is the first joint service base ive been to that has the army navy game. The NAVY gets to play with the marines, we come together just like they do in college,” says Cody Sykes/NAVY Petty Officer First Class.
“Not just the soldiers but the other branches, and we all come out here as team Goodfellow. We all get to hang out, have some fun, we have food trucks out here  and enjoy the game,” says Zephier Gaines/  Army PFC.
The Navy team beat the Army with a last minute touchdown. The final score was 19 to 13.
