East Concho Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser

Bounce houses, burgers, and a band…Those are just some of the things seen today at the East Concho Volunteer Fire Department fundraiser.

They are fundraising for new equipment that can run up to $2,500 for one full kit.

The Firehouse Kitchen Food Truck donated $1 for every order in the month of May to help out.

The event started at 11 AM and ran until 10 PM.

The Owner of Fire House Kitchen, Joshua Hewitt, says, “funds are limited we’re pretty much donation only and funded a little bit by the county. And, so, at least twice a year we want to do an event to help, especially right now, because they’re short on funds on getting equipment. It’s really outdated, so we’re trying to get grands and matching funds to put in with it.”

All of the proceeds will go to the department.
