East Angelo Lions Club pack food boxes for needy families

News

Wednesday evening, before their annual holiday party, the East Angelo Lions Club packed 80 boxes of food for needy families in the area.

For the past 25 years, the East Angelo Lions Club has used money from fundraisers to purchase groceries for families that need them. The food boxes contain non-perishable items, such as canned foods, cereal, and much more.

Several girls from the Concho Valley Home for Girls also volunteered to pack boxes. The food boxes will be distributed to families over the next few days, just before the holidays.
