Crash on North Van Buren sends three people to hospital


Police blocked off traffic for an hour after a collision on North Van Buren.

Three ambulances arrived and took three people to hospitals.

Police say a gray Kia and black Toyota Camry collided at the intersection of North Van Buren and the westbound Houston Harte frontage road.

Both the man and woman in the kia were transported and a woman had to be cut out of the Toyota.

A male passenger was sent to the hospital.

Officers cited the Toyota driver for failing to yield.
