Council Deadlocked on Discussion of Utility Bill Late Fee

News

During San Angelo’s City Council meeting, Tuesday, council member Lucy Gonzales brought up the discussion of late fees for water customers.

Gonzales says the flat rate late fee of $25 is too much for low-income families and that council should discuss another idea or system to fine customers.

Council was deadlocked on a decision to further discuss this agenda item with a 3-3 vote.
