Concho Valley PAWS to microchip and vaccinate area cats at “Feline Frenzy” event

Concho Valley PAWS will be providing vouchers for vaccinations and microchips during their “Feline Frenzy” event at Sunset Mall on Saturday.

On October 6 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Concho Valley PAWS will offer free annual vaccinations with rabies shots and free microchips with lifetime registration to the first 50 cats at the event. All cats that arrive after the first 50 will be offered vaccines for $15 and the microchips for $13.

Fifty low-cost spay and neuter vouchers for cats will be offered for $25. The vouchers are limited so they will be offered on a first come, first serve basis and one per person in line for cash or check only. The vouchers cover the cost of surgery only and will expire November 30th.

All cats featured at their Sunset Mall location will be available for free to qualified adopters. Adoptions include spay or neuter, vaccines, microchips, collar, tag, and a free bag of Science Diet cat food. To expedite the process on Saturday and avoid any approval delays, complete the adoption application today at

Concho Valley PAWS would like to remind participants this is a cat only event due to the concern for the spread of Canine Parvovirus.
