Hundreds of shooters practiced their skills this weekend while helping Shannon Medical Center.

This is the 18th Annual Shannon Sporting Clay Shoot. About 500 shooters participated Saturday.

A live auction for deer hunts, turkey hunts, painted guns and a trip to New Zealand.

Each year, proceeds of the clay bird shoot benefit multiple departments at Shannon.

“These sponsors and these shooters, we’ve become really good friends with them so it’s great to see them once a year and in just seeing each other it’s like a family reunion. So it’s a real pride,” says Connie Whitman, an event coordinator.

The San Angelo Clay Bird Association hosted the event.
