Burn Ban issued for Tom Green County

News

We could see increased risk for wildfires over the next two months across the Concho Valley as a result of the extremely dry conditions.

Tom Green County Commissioners ordered a new burn ban that takes effect immediately.

It will prohibit all outdoor burning in the county for the next three months through the middle of April.

The county burn ban allows outdoor cooking on propane or gas grills and violators can be fined up to 500 dollars.
