“Bowling for Boobies” Spreads Awareness of Cancer

Dozens headed out to the bowling alley this weekend, for some fun and for a good cause. Relay for life of Tom Green County hosted “Bowling for Boobies,” Saturday.

The fundraiser was held at Stadium Lanes in the afternoon. It helps bring awareness of breast cancer.

Bowlers got to play three games, win door prizes, and each got a t-shirt.

“All cancers are, we want to strike this disease out. We don’t want anyone to have to suffer through it any more. But as a breast cancer survivor it’s just a fun way to use that and spread the word of what relay for life and American Cancer Society can actually do for you,” says Amanda Terry, Hero of Hope of Relay for Life.

All proceeds will go to Amanda’s Army Relay for Life team, which benefits the American Cancer Society.
